Trim The Fat (aka Nicky Howard) is the owner of Type Six Recordings. Hailing from a sun-soaked corner of Yorkshire, UK, Type Six Recordings is an independent dance music label. It is ran by head honcho Nicky Howard, better known as respected producer & DJ Trim The Fat who’s previous work has gained support from many a top jock such as James Zabeila, The Scum Frog, Jay Lumen, Derek Howell, and Miss Nine. He has provided guest mixes and had tracks appear many times in Radio 1, Frisky and Proton sets.

Type Six Recordings aim to bring you the music lover, the finest cutting-edge dance music we can possibly conceive. Be this by established or upcoming artists, always original and diverse in it’s range of styles sitting somewhere loosely between House & Techno.
