Ivo was born in 1987, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He grew up as a boy with his family and friends. When he was a child, he was always curious about music; so he started with piano and guitar classes where he learned a lot about music theory. After growing up and getting to know different music styles, he knew that his style would be Dance music. This step changed his life and he started his first steps in the electronic music store where he was falling in love with Vinyls and DJs and their magic tricks. So he decided to be a DJ. The next big step was to produced his own tracks to so he can share his thoughts and feelings with the people better.

Welcome to the sixth edition of GRAVITY. This month I have the pleasure to present to you the part 1 with me and the part 2 with my guest K.A.N

Enjoy the show

Born on an island underexposed to electronic music, Kan firstly discovered
this genre through a compilation brought by a foreign cousin, with trance
tracks like BBE – 7 days or 1 week or Jaydee – Plastic dreams.
What amazed him was the abstracted form of this kind of music, where sounds
took form of pictures. No lyrics was necessary to feel the sounds,
as if it was a universal language.
After exploring many genre such as Rock, Hip Hop, Reggae, House, Uplifting trance,
Exploration shows that music is untouchable and knows no frontiers.
Kan keeps defining what he is truly looking for in music.
He does into the direction of the underground sounds, where the beats have
no ranking and place for experimentation.
He is already sure that he has apetite for groovy beats
and ethereal atmospheres to create magical and emotional landscapes.
He goes even deeper in the music after meeting his best friend Kevin O’keeffe
who exposes him to other sounds and also music production. Again, it is another step
towards his true sound: strong dark progressive beats, tribal percussions,
fierce techno grooves and psychedelic effects.
Tired of hearing music and seeing graphics that are not of his taste, Kan
decides to go forward and share his vision to others. He begins to create graphics
for music related event and to go deeper into the sounds through production
and creates a show called Phobiq, which is the darker side of the download platform
Beattunes.com where are presented mixes from inspired artists who also want to
share their trip for emotional sound.
It can be through a computer screen, a pair of speakers or a club’s dancefloor,
Kan always wants to share his perceptions of senses to whoever is willing to,
always trying to making his performances as creative and true as possible.

For GRAVITY 004 Zoltàn prepared a 1 hour set of  Deep & Dark Progressive with some  tracks coming from its own productions.

The Stain’s bio:

The Stain’s real name is Zoltán Bán born in Budapest, Hungary in 1983.He affected by music from childhood.
Listening from classic music to the pioneers of electronic scene.As he getting older he turned to the electronic side.
At the age of 13 got his first house mix and enchanted by the energy of the uprising break music like The Prodigy.
From that time he listened several style of music periodically.passed trought the early drum and bass era(tech Itch,Ed Rush & Optical)after that
nu school and progressive breaks(Hybrid,Koma & Bones)house (early Global Underground,Balance,Renaissance mixes) inspired by techno fromminimalism to the hardest beats(Hawtin,Surgeon,Samuel L.Session,Dominik Eulberg).
From the age of 16 tried to make some loops with a drummachine and getting knowall of the learning for music making step-by-step.
At te beginning music making was a hobby and it became his life .
After a while he turned back to progressive house best fits his style nowadays.
Now he has the knowledge and the right tools to feed underground house music andexpress his feelings.
